About Sar Pass Trek Package
Sar Pass Trek is located in Kasol, Himachal Pradesh, which encapsulates the beauty of Parvati Valley in itself. Sar Pass is one of the most popular trekking routes with an elevation of 4,220 M / 13,845 Feet above sea level. This trekking route offers the magnificence of the beautiful lush green landscape along with snow encounters while crossing Sar Pass.
When you start trekking from Kasol, and reach Grahan village, you get to view the majestic Himalayan peaks clad in snow and the beautiful meadows. Sar, in the local dialect, means a lake. While trekking on the way from Tila Lotni to Biskeri Ridge, one has to pass through a small, usually frozen lake (SAR) and hence the name Sar Pass Trek.
Sir Pass starts from Kasol roadhead. On the first day of trekking you leave for Grahan village, a beautiful village in Parvati Valley surrounded by lush green forest of deodar and rhododendron. This route is a frequent trail used by the local people taking around 4 - 5 hours. During the Sar Pass Expedition, you spend your first night in Grahan village, either camping or in a homestay house. Ming thatch to Nagaru is a day full of unforgettable spectacular scenery and high adventure.

Sar Pass Trek is a moderate grade trek in difficulty level for nature and trekking lovers. The entire trekking route is filled with a spectacular view of snow-capped mountains, ancient rivers and streams.

The best time to visit Sar Pass Trek is from June & July and then from September to October.
How to Reach Kasol for the Sar Pass
Trek
You have to reach Kasol first to go for the Sar Pass trek. This trek starts from Kasol itself. There are three ways to reach Kasol, which are as follows -
By Air
The nearest airport to Kasol is Bhuntar Airport located in Ada Kullu Manali area. The distance from Kasol is about 31 kms. The airport is connected to all major cities through Delhi. After coming to Bhuntar, you can book from here to Kasol by hiring a local taxi or cab.
By Train
The nearest railway station to reach here by train is Chandigarh. The distance is about 297 kilometers from Kasol. After coming to Chandigarh, you can opt for Volvo Bus or Roadways from here.
By Road
If you are thinking of going to Kasol on your own and doing the Sar Pass trek, and you want to go from Delhi, then you can board a bus from ISBT or Majnu Ka Tilla Bus Stand to Kasol. The distance between Delhi and Kasol is 515 km, this journey may take you 10 to 12 hours or more. If you travel overnight, you will reach Kasol by morning. Apart from this, you can also go from Chandigarh Bus Stand.
