Rishikund Trek

The Rishikund Trek is accredited among the most picturesque routes in the Garhwal Himalayas in Uttarakhand. Ranging from 1800m to 4370m, it is located in the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve area. Throughout the trek, an amazing view of snow-clad mountain peaks is visible. The trek starts from Joshimath, going up to Rishi Kund and Sajdhar Top. Some of the majestic peaks visible here include Dornagiri, Nandaghunti, Devasthan, and Nanda Devi. 

The trek is broken down into short stretches with a minimal difficulty level. It is meant for anyone who admires nature at its best and who prefers a leisure trek. All in all, its scenic beauty remains the unique crossing point and one would definitely rejoice with an amazing experience.

Itinerary

Day

1

Arrive Haridwar, drive to Joshimath (280 Kms / 9-10 Hrs)
Joshimath

Joshimath is a city and a municipal board in Chamoli district located in Uttarakhand state of India, also known as Jyotirmath. It is a gateway to Himalayan mountain climbing expeditions, trekking trails and pilgrim centres like Badrinath.

The route to Joshimath crosses many prayags such as Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karanprayag, Nandprayag, and Vishnuprayag.
? Devprayag is the sacred event of merging two visible heavenly rivers, Alakananda and Bhagirathi, to form the holy Ganga.
? Rudraprayag is one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of Alaknanda River.
? Karnprayag is also known for its high altitude markets.
? Nandprayag is the second Prayag from Panchaprag. This place was considered the capital of the Yadu kingdom in the Dwapar era.
? Vishnuprayag is on the holy confluence of Alaknanda and Dhauliganga rivers.

2

Drive to Suraithota (35 Kms)/ Trek to Bhalgaon (08 Kms)
Bhalgaon

After breakfast in the morning, we drive from Joshimath to Suraithota. The trek will start from Suraithota and trek to Bhalgaon today afternoon. Arrival in the village in evening.

Trek to Kantala Camp (08 Kms)
Kantala

In the morning we start trek from Bhalgaon to Kantala Camp for around 08 kms. Arrival at Kantala Camp, Time free to explore around.

4

Trek to Rishikund (08 Kms / 4310 Mt)
Rishikund

Rishikund is situated close Raghunath Temple and Triveni Ghat. Trek from Kantala Camp to Rishikund, It is a 5 hour long trek that will take you to Rishikund destination. Arrival at Rishikund.

Trek to Sajdhar Top (07 kms / 4600 mt.)
Sajdhar

Wake up in the morning, and post breakfast trek to Sajdhar Top. Experience the beautiful views of Himalaya. Back to Rishikund explore the free time and sightseeing

6

Trek back to Bhalla Gaon (16 kms)
Bhalgaon

Post breakfast descend to Bhalla Gaon. Arrival at Bhalla Gaon and time free to explore around.
Overnight stay.

7

Trek Back to Suraithota (08 Kms), Drive Joshimath (35 Kms)
Joshimath

After morning trek down from Bhalla Gaon to Suraithota and drive to Joshimath. Arrival at Joshimath, check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay.

8

Drive to Haridwar (280 Kms / 9-10 Hrs)
Haridwar

Today drive from Joshimath to Haridwar Early morning, Arrival at Haridwar in evening time. The trip ends.

Cancellation Policy

The package price will be deducted as per the following conditions strictly. No refund will be entertained without receiving a cancellation request effective from the date of receipt of the letter. 

  • Notice less than 60-46 days:  25% cost will be deducted
  • Notice less than 45-31 days:  50% cost will be deducted
  • Notice less than  30 days:    No Refund

Note: No refund will be given to people who are unable to complete the trip or abandon it due to any reasons.

  • The digital copy of the Indemnity form duly filled, signed and emailed to the company along with the booking amount. 
  • It will be deemed that the booking & payment policy is accepted by the clients while making the bookings with the first deposit amount. 
  • If the client is forced to cancel the booking prior to departure, the cancellation policy will be followed.
  • In case of any delay beyond our control, the client will have to bear extra cost for the extra days as per the option chosen on per day basis.
  • Please  note  and  be  well  informed  that  there  will  be  no  refund  of  money  after the package commences and if one cannot complete activity or gets sick enroute. 
  • The cost is for the entire package and there would be no refunds in case any part of the package is not availed.

  1. It is in the nature of a holiday of this kind to be flexible. The day-to-day agenda and ultimate goal of the tour is taken as an aim and not as a contractual obligation. We shall not be responsible for the delays or alterations in the program or expenses incurred due to conflict, international or internal flight delay or cancellations, strikes, sickness, weather, war, vehicle problems, political closures and disputes.
  2. The  booking  is  accepted  on  the  understanding  that  you  realize  the  potential  risks  and hazards that can be involved in holidays of this kind. The organisor along with our leaders/guides and anyone else working in association with us cannot be held responsible for any death, accident or mishap that may occur in connection with any part of, or services connected with the holiday. 
  3. Before the guests come on a holiday, they must be covered by insurance, which has to include the cost of helicopter rescue, evacuation and cost of repatriation if they become too ill to continue. It is recommended that the travel insurance should cover adventure activities undertaken. We can help you incase required
  4. The Company would not be liable to pay any kind of compensation arising because of any mishap, sickness, accident etc.

  • 1st Installment:       25% of the package price on confirmation of all services
  • 2nd Installment:    50% Balance 15 days prior to the departure date
