Morning after breakfast, your trek leader will be brief about today?s route condition and other logistical points that are going to be crucial for your trekking trip.
You start walking with a soft ascent through a lovely patch of pine forest and the trek is quite scenic, filled with various birds and wildlife. As you gain altitude they get open with snowy peaks and wide valleys, freely flowing pristine streams and grazing herds.
Eventually you reach the camp after negotiating another gentle ascent. Reaching at camp, enjoy hot tea / coffee and snacks and get settled in tents.
The trek begins with a short section of ascent through a dense forest later crossing a couple of streams. The entire trek is made up of ascents and descents but offers a pleasant walking experience. As you get higher the vegetation changes the landscape where you find birch, rhododendrons and junipers in bushes and meadows covered with velvety Bugials. This sites huge expanse of land offers a wide spread astounding view of western Himalayan peaks in the backdrop.
The trek is going to be a tough ascent of 1 hour or a little less. There is no natural water source on the way. You need to pack a good amount of water since you will be sweating all the way up to the top.
Once hitting the top you witness a huge amphitheater view of the Himalayan peaks from west to east which is going to be good stuff to regain your energy. As this is the highest point of the trek so apparently its gonna be windy and you are advised to put on a wind stopper to protect your body from losing heat.
Further the trail moves ahead with some mild descents and ascents and again you have the opportunity to witness a close view of Bandarpunch, Kalanag and Swarga Rohini peaks.
Today the trail is always descending down till Taluka and you find some shepherd?s hut and herds of sheep and goats grazing.
Reaching Taluka, a 30 min drive will take you to Sankri Village, the start off point of the trek.
