About Panwali Kantha Trek
Panwali Kantha Bugyal is a popular alpine meadow in Uttarakhand, which is located in the Garhwal district of Tehri. Panwali Kantha trek is a spectacular trekking trail, which is still hidden from many trackers. Flowers, herbs, and attractive trees of many species are present here.
In the summer season (months of April and May) Panwali Kantha Bugyal is adorned with red and pink colored rhododendrons (a shrub or vine-like evergreen ornamental flowering plant of the Heather family). The height of Panwali Kantha Bugyal is about 3368 m above sea level, and it is situated at a distance of about 90 km from Nai Tehri.
Panwali Kantha is a well-organized trekking route that passes through oak, cedar, and rhododendron flora. This Himalayan offers a golden opportunity to feel natural. The trek starts from the Triyuginarayan temple in the Kedarnath valley and ends at Ghutu village, about 30 km from Ghansali.
