Hidimba Devi Temple, locally known as Dhungiri Temple, also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located in Man?li, a hill station in the State of Him?chal Pradesh in north India. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mah?bh?rata

A popular Buddhist religious centers in the region, Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa is one of the most famous attractions in Manali. Though the monastery is slightly small in size, but exudes high spiritual energy. The monastery as constructed in the year 1960 by Tibetan refugees. The yellow-colored pagoda-style roof compliments the royal façade very well, making the structure look wonderful. There is a huge image of Lord Buddha inside the monastery. Visitors can also see a number of attractive murals, depicting the non-violent philosophy of Lord Buddha. Gadhan Thekchhokling Monastery complex has a number of small shops selling Tibetan handicrafts and carpets. Money collected from sale and donations are used for doing routine activities of the place. The names of people killed at the time of Tibetan occupation can also be seen in the monastery.

Pangong Lake is the most important tourist attraction of Ladakh. This blue expanse of Endorik Lake is located at an elevation of 4350 meters and looks as if it is a piece of heaven that fell to the earth. Surrounded by barren mountains, this lake is probably one of the most beautiful lakes in Ladakh. Pangong is a transboundary lake that stretches for about 134 kilometers between India and China. About one-third of the lake is in India and its average width is about 5 kilometers and it is the largest saltwater lake in the world. The banks of the lake are so stunning that many Bollywood films have been shot here. One thing that attracts tourists here is that saltwater reaction occurs when the sunlight falls in different colors of water.

Tanglang La, elevation 5,328 metres (17,480 ft), is a high mountain pass in Ladakh region of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. As of August 2014, the Leh-Manali highway leading south from Upshi to Tanglang La is paved, with the exception of a very short (approx 500m) unpaved section just north of the pass. The pass itself is paved. On ascending the pass from Moore plains the road is well paved too with occasional streams crossing.

Khardung La is a mountain pass in the Ladakh region of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The local pronunciation is "Khardong La" or "Khardzong La" but, as with most names in Ladakh, the romanised spelling varies. The pass on the Ladakh Range is north of Leh and is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys.the highest motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft).

Nubra Valley is a tri-armed valley located northeast of the Ladakh Valley. About 150 km north of the city of Leh, the capital of Ladakh administrative division of Jammu and Kashmir, India, is the headquarters of the subdivision and Nubra tehsil. Local scholars state that its original name was Ldumra (Valley of Flowers). The Shyok River joins the Nubra or Siachan River forming a large valley that separates the Ladakh and Karakoram Ranges. The Shyok River is a subsidiary of the Indus River. The average elevation of the valley is about 10,000 feet i.e. 3048 meters above sea level. The most common way to reach this valley is to travel from Leh city to Khardung La Pass. Foreign nationals are required to obtain a protected area permit to travel to the Nubra Valley. Indian citizens are required to obtain an Inner Line Permit to visit the Valley from 1 April 2017.
