Overview

Iceland Northern Lights Tour Package

Iceland - The country is the literal representation of its name, for it is filled with icy fjords, icebergs, glaciers, and lagoons. The natural beauty of this nation is so staggering that it is unparalleled, giving it an exclusive and unique character than the rest.

Best known for the incredible Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, Iceland attracts tourists from all over the globe. Visible in winter months from September to April, the colorful and lustrous northern lights reflect on the serene lakes and waters among fjords, illuminating the entire spread of the region as a picture-perfect opportunity for your camera.

The tour starts and terminates in Reykjavik; the northernmost capital of the world. It encompasses a guided coach tour that takes you all over the circular nation so as to ensure that you cover every detail and highlight of this amazing country.

Some major highlights covered are the Vatnaj?kull National Park; Europe?s Largest National Park & Europe?s Largest Glacier, the Thingvellir National Park; UNESCO World Heritage site, the Golden Circle, geothermal geysers & hot springs, Godly waterfalls, Blue Glacial Lagoons, and Diamond Beach to name a few.

You have opportunities of viewing the Northern Lights on 3-4 nights so as to maximize your chances of experiencing this phenomenon. You can also spot arctic seals bathing in the icy waters between icebergs.

This package has departure dates all year round, and for Summer departure dates, you may even come across a phenomenon called the Midnight Sun, wherein the sun does not go beyond the horizon and there are 24 hours of sunlight!

Walk among lava fields, take a dip in hot springs, get soaked in waterfalls, and end your days by gazing at the starry, Northern Lights lit sky, as Iceland brings to you an experience that is so exclusive and incredible, to say the least.
